Finnish Society for Medical Physics and Medical Engineering organises its 16th “LFT-päivät” event in Oulu Linnanmaa campus on the 9th of February, 2017. The aim of this event is to activate new members to the society as well as improve research and education collaboration between medical physics and medical engineering professionals and students in Finland.
The seminar includes presentations of activities in fields of medical physics and medical engineering by organising university as well as company presentations. Organisers encourage other institutions and professionals in this field to bring posters or other presentation material to seminar. The event includes a poster competition for all Master’s Theses completed in 2016. The total amount of prizes is 2016 €. Submit the abstract of your thesis by February 2, 2017. After the poster awards ceremony, there will be the traditional evening gathering with drinks and snacks!

Those who have completed their master’s thesis in 2016 are eligible to participate. Three best posters will receive a cash award.
Send your contact information along with your abstract to email@example.com by 30.01.2017. Contact information should include name, address, phone number, e-mail, university, supervisors and the title of the abstract. Please, title your email as follows: “LFT-päivät/abstract”.
Submitters will be notified of acceptance/non-acceptance status via e-mail by 01.02.2017. Poster Preparation Guidelines will be posted at the same time with the notification of acceptance. All participants will have free access to the evening gathering.
